About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and accountable Software Tester who can take ownership of the complete quality assurance lifecycle of our ERP products.

This role is ideal for freshers or early-career candidates who have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to identify issues before they impact end users.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Understanding

• Understand business requirements, workflows, and product functionalities
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and functional specifications
• Clarify requirements with product and development teams when needed

Test Planning

• Create structured test scenarios and test cases
• Identify possible user flows and edge cases
• Ensure complete test coverage before product release

Functional Testing

• Perform manual testing of ERP modules and features
• Verify that implemented functionalities match requirements
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues

Bug Reporting & Tracking

• Document bugs clearly with proper steps, screenshots, and expected outcomes
• Track reported issues and verify fixes
• Coordinate with developers to ensure defects are resolved effectively

Regression Testing

• Retest existing functionalities after updates and bug fixes
• Ensure new changes do not impact previously working features
• Maintain product stability across releases

User Acceptance Support

• Assist product and implementation teams during client demonstrations and UAT
• Verify client-reported issues and provide validation support
• Ensure product quality before final deployment

Quality Improvement

• Suggest improvements in workflows, usability, and product quality
• Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive measures
• Contribute to continuous testing process improvements

Release Verification

• Conduct final testing before product delivery
• Ensure all critical functionalities are working as expected
• Support successful product launches and client approvals

Selection Process (Important)

5-Day Real-Time Assessment

Candidates will work on live, practical tasks simulating real project scenarios.

Tasks will evaluate:

• Requirement understanding
• Test case creation
• Bug identification and reporting
• Analytical thinking
• Communication skills
• Ownership & accountability

Final selection will be based on performance during these 5 days.
